It was held at New Jersey Rock Gym, in Fairfield. The gang got to literally climb the walls, belayed by NJRG staff and Ariel's Mom (who is an experienced rock climber). The theme of the party was Climbing Warrior Cats, a combination of climbing and Ariel's favorite book series about wild cat clans, The Warriors.
Ariel has been climbing since she was a toddler, and has climbed outdoors at the Gunks in upstate NY, Rumney's Rattlesnake Mountain in New Hampshire, and Yosemite National Park in California. What a great way to spend her birthday, sharing her favorite sport with her favorite friends!
